I have a B.A degree in English from the University of Copenhagen and have also studied English at Copenhagen Business School. I have translated three books into Danish: Karen Kingston´s “Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui”, Annette Goodheart´s “Laughter Therapy” and John W. Armstrong´s “The Water of Life”.

My passion for the English language dates back to the 1970s when I began my English studies at the university. However, I soon realised that I had caught the travel bug and therefore decided to travel overland to India and Nepal to experience exotic cultures first-hand instead of being immersed in postcolonial literature at the university. I went to India three times over a period of five years, the last time being in 1981 when I spent four months in the Osho Rajneesh Ashram in Poona where I developed a passion for painting.

Although my passion for the English language had to hibernate a bit while I was an art student in Copenhagen, I also knew that combining art and language would be the ultimate way of expressing my heart and soul. While I was studying English at Copenhagen Business School in the 1990s I had a unique soulmate experience that opened my heart not only to unconditional love but also to the vast reservoir of creativity when I am combining abstract painting with poetry.

I live in a 200-year-old house right in the centre of a small town in North Zealand, approximately 50 kilometres north of Copenhagen.

The pictures of the house were taken in May 2005, shortly after I had moved into the house which was used as a watermill till a few decades ago, hence its proximity to the canal which connects Denmark´s biggest lake with a fjord. There are now six flats in the house which has an adjacent garden. When the snow starts melting in early spring the water is flowing so rapidly that it sounds as if there is a waterfall just outside my windows.
